Hive Helpers is based on the Surrey and Hampshire border, with sites in and around Farnham.
As a Community Interest Company, we operate not only in the interests of the community but all our profit goes back into the local community too.

First of the MINIBEASTS!
April 2025
We held our first MINIBEASTS session of the year with a return to our apiary. The children all earned their safety badges in the apiary with Erica, looked for wild bees with Juliet and planted sunflowers for our tallest sunflower competition with Cheryl. Teach 'em young!
March 2025​
Erica and Juliet have started visiting schools again this spring, telling children about the importance of bees and pollination, thank to a grant from Harmony Energy. The children enjoyed our bee game, made candles, tasted some honey and tried on beesuits!

New Year, Good News!
January 2025​
Our first piece of good news for the New Year is a generous donation from Care Farnham which will allow us to buy a new camera. This will hopefully help us take amazing pictures like the one above of a wool carder bee on lamb's ear, taken by talented photographer Alex Potts, who is one of our supporters. Care Farnham is a local charity providing help to local residents who make contributions from which we have been lucky enough to benefit.
